Elephant Mud really has had a rather turbulent history. It begins back in
November 1991 when I (Larnen) first caught the mud bug and by 1993 we had a fully running
Elephant of our very own. The getting there was, however, at times a rather rocky road,
with enough 'close escapes' to have turned the normal person into a nervous wreck. Not us
though! No, we die-hard muddicts can survive anything for the cause (except perhaps
reboots when we are halfway through quests), and in the end we have emerged safe, sound
and popular.
